Refund and Returns Policy

This policy applies to book orders placed on petanqueland.fr, published and shipped by Pétanque with Paquita. By placing your order, you accept the terms below.

1. Right of withdrawal (14 days)

In accordance with articles L221-18 and following of the Consumer Code, you have a period of fourteen (14) days from receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to give a reason or pay a penalty.

To exercise it, you must inform us of your decision before the deadline expires, by email to contact@petanqueland.fr, specifying your name, your order number and the book or books concerned.

2. Condition of returned products

To be accepted, books must be returned to us:

• in their original condition, new, complete and undamaged ;
• not annotated, not dog-eared, not stained, not damaged and not having been used beyond what is necessary to verify the nature of the product;
• carefully packaged for shipping.

3. Return costs and risks

The return costs are at your expense. We strongly recommend using a tracked shipment : the risks associated with the return (loss, theft, breakage) are yours until we actually receive the parcel.

4. Refund

After receipt and verification of the returned book or books, we process the refund within a maximum of fourteen (14) days, by the same payment method as the one used when ordering.

The refund covers the price of the book or books as well as the initial standard shipping costs. In accordance with the law, we may defer the refund until we recover the products or until you have provided proof of their shipment.

5. Products excluded from the right of withdrawal

In accordance with article L221-28 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply:

• to digital content provided on an intangible medium (e-books, PDFs, downloadable files) whose execution or download has begun with your express consent;
• to personalised, signed or made-to-order books.

6. Damaged parcel or error on our part

If you receive a book damaged during shipping, or in the event of anerror with your order, contact us within 48 hours following receipt, at contact@petanqueland.fr, attaching photos. We then proceed with the replacement or refund, at no cost to you.

7. Legal warranties

Independently of this policy, you benefit from legal warranties: the legal warranty of conformity (art. L217-3 and following of the Consumer Code) and the warranty against hidden defects (art. 1641 and following of the Civil Code).
